Terms of Use
By downloading, installing, or using Encrypser (the "Application"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should stop using the Application and remove it from your device. Encrypser may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be made available through the appropriate channels. Your continued use of the Application after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Application Features
Encrypser provides privacy and security tools, including:
• VPN protection;
• a private browser;
• a locally encrypted password vault;
• encrypted private notes; and
• device authentication through PIN or biometric verification where supported.
Certain features may require appropriate permissions or system capabilities.
VPN Service
Encrypser provides a VPN service that allows users to route network traffic through a VPN connection. The VPN is intended to provide an additional layer of privacy and security when using the Internet. VPN performance and availability may depend on network conditions, device configuration, the user's location, and other technical factors. Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the VPN service. The VPN service must not be used to facilitate illegal activity, unauthorized access to computer systems, fraud, harassment, or infringement of the rights of others. The availability or functionality of the VPN may be affected by network restrictions, third-party services, local regulations, or technical limitations.
Private Browser
The private browser is intended to provide users with additional privacy when browsing the Internet. Encrypser does not guarantee that browsing through the Application will make a user completely anonymous or prevent all forms of tracking by websites or other third parties. Users remain responsible for their actions and for the websites and services they choose to access.
Passwords and Notes
Passwords and private notes are encrypted and stored locally on the user's device. Users are responsible for maintaining access to their device and authentication credentials. Encrypser does not provide a password recovery mechanism for locally stored encrypted content if the user loses access to their PIN, biometric authentication, or device.
Lawful Use
Users may use Encrypser only for lawful purposes. Users must not:
• use the Application to facilitate illegal activities;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks;
• distribute malware or other malicious content;
• use the VPN to violate applicable laws or the rights of others;
• attempt to interfere with or compromise the Application or its infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the Application or its source code except where permitted by applicable law; or
• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties.
Service Availability
Encrypser is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Application or VPN service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Service availability may be affected by network failures, device limitations, maintenance, third-party infrastructure, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Security and Limitations
Encrypser is designed to provide privacy and security features, but no software, VPN, encryption system, or Internet connection can guarantee absolute security. Users should maintain appropriate security practices, including keeping their device and operating system up to date and protecting their authentication credentials.
Modified Devices
Certain features may not function properly on devices with modified operating systems, including rooted or jailbroken devices. We do not guarantee compatibility or security on devices whose operating system security mechanisms have been modified.
Changes to the Application
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue individual features of Encrypser when reasonably necessary to maintain, improve, or secure the Application.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Encrypser and its owners, operators, and service providers are not responsible for losses resulting from:
• interruption or unavailability of the Application or VPN service;
• network failures or connectivity problems;
• actions taken by users while using the Application;
• websites, services, or content accessed through the VPN or private browser;
• loss of locally stored data resulting from loss of device access or authentication credentials; or
• circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
